Job Summary
Greet patients and confirm accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling medications. Perform data entry of patient care information and conduct third-party adjudication when necessary. Dispense prescription medications accurately while maintaining pharmacy stock through inventory control systems. Handle general OTC enquiries from patients and refer cases to a Pharmacist where required. Manage customer prescription pick-ups and ensure all transactions meet compliance standards. This role supports Loblaw's commitment to positively impacting lives across Canada through collaborative customer service and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
