Job Summary
Pharmacy Accuracy Tech under the direct supervision of a pharmacist assists in pharmaceutical care by verifying the medication packaging process and outcomes, performs a final verification prior to medication distribution, serves as a Charge/lead when on duty, mentors technicians, and participates in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities to optimize efficiency and accuracy in medications preparation and dispensing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy
- National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) required
- Pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Product Verification Technician Certification within 6 months
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
