Job Summary
Full-time Pharmacology faculty member (Assistant/Associate Professor) at Rosalind Franklin University’s Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Primary duties include coordinating and teaching the Pharmacology course to podiatric medical students, with potential to coordinate or teach other basic or clinical science courses. Responsibilities also include mentoring students, providing formative and summative assessment questions, contributing to curriculum development and assessment, providing service to the College/University/Profession, participating in interviewing podiatric medical school student candidates, staying current in the discipline and teaching methodology, engaging in faculty development activities, maintaining collegial relationships, and performing other duties as assigned by the Chair. Teaching responsibilities may involve direct instruction, curriculum management, assessment, and advising. Required education includes a terminal doctoral degree (PharmD, PhD, DPM, MD, or DO or equivalent); background check is required. The position supports full-time benefits for those teaching 30+ hours weekly; start date anticipated July 2027. Location: North Chicago, IL (US).
