Job Summary
Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to customers while maintaining confidential information and controlled medication documentation. Develop and execute action plans by offering expert advice on health care needs, counseling patients on new therapies, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Monitor safety controls, quality assurance reviews, and loss prevention protocols to drive continuous improvement in patient care and operational standards. Model company policies, ethics, and integrity while mentoring associates on proper customer service techniques and resolving complaints within established guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
