Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders while counseling them on healthcare and medication needs. Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. Model proper customer service approaches and guide pharmacy staff on best practices in pharmaceutical care. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with proficiency in implementing best practices and the ability to foster relationships with patients and partners. Located in Andover, MN, the position offers a salary range of $98,000 to $172,000 for a 40-hour week, with additional performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines
