Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, guiding associates on resolving concerns, and enforcing company policies and standards. Ensure compliance with legal regulations by analyzing reports, overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews, and implementing action plans for improvement. Maintain confidential documentation and drive continuous improvements in patient safety, risk reduction, and team knowledge through data analysis and root cause correction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Work in a drug-free workplace with no tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job

- Using tools, data and personal conversations to understand your community and common concerns and stay up to date on emergent and urgent health issues therein
