Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders while counseling them on healthcare and medication needs. Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, ensuring strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations including HIPAA and PHI guidelines. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches to foster relationships with patients and partners. Adapt to address a variety of medical concerns and participate in community outreach activities. This role supports Walmart's commitment to delivering quality, heartfelt care to patients and ensuring their health and wellness within an energetic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
