Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients on healthcare and medication needs, and administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart. Model proper customer service approaches and provide guidance to pharmacy staff while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain HIPAA and PHI compliance throughout daily operations. This role is essential to our pharmacy team's mission of delivering quality, heartfelt care and supporting community health goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
