Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients on healthcare needs and administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart. Model proper customer service approaches and guide pharmacy staff on compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensure adherence to HIPAA and PHI guidelines while fostering relationships with customers and partners. Adapt to a variety of medical concerns and participate in community outreach activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
