Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to customers by processing prescription orders, counseling on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining confidential documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on compliance with policies and safety standards. Ensure operational compliance by interpreting reports, monitoring loss prevention controls, and implementing action plans for quality assurance and risk reduction. Manage inventory control, cost savings initiatives, and community outreach events to support patient wellness and business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Work in a drug-free workplace with no tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
