Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care by processing prescription orders, counseling customers on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining confidential documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, guiding associates through compliance initiatives, and resolving complaints within company standards. Ensure operational safety and quality by monitoring loss prevention controls, overseeing safety reviews, and implementing action plans to reduce risks. Engage with the community through outreach events and Wellness Days while adapting to diverse patient backgrounds and urgent health concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Work in a drug-free workplace with no tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
