Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders while counseling them on healthcare and medication needs. Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches. Maintain HIPAA and PHI guidelines throughout all interactions. This role supports Walmart's commitment to quality, heartfelt care for patients and community engagement through outreach and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
