Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients regarding healthcare and medication needs while administering immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations such as HIPAA and PHI guidelines. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches. This role is critical to achieving community health goals and delivering quality, heartfelt care within an energetic pharmacy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
