Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients on healthcare and medication needs while administering immunizations and other Walmart programs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including HIPAA and PHI guidelines. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches. This role empowers you to share clinical knowledge and advocate for patient wellbeing within an energetic pharmacy team dedicated to quality, heartfelt care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
