Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients regarding healthcare and medication needs while administering immunizations and other programs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including HIPAA and PHI guidelines. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches. Foster relationships with customers and partners through excellent communication and adaptability to address varied medical concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
