Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, guiding associates on resolving concerns, and enforcing compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Ensure operational safety by overseeing quality assurance reviews, interpreting reports for loss prevention, and implementing action plans to improve team knowledge and reduce risks. Maintain confidential documentation and stay current on emergent health issues through data analysis and community outreach events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Work in a drug-free workplace with no tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
