Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders. Counsel patients on healthcare and medication needs while administering immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs. Model proper customer service approaches and guide pharmacy staff on compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including HIPAA and PHI guidelines. This Staff Pharmacist role at Walmart involves working in an energetic environment to deliver quality, heartfelt care and advocate for patient wellbeing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines
