Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders while counseling them on healthcare and medication needs. Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations including HIPAA and PHI guidelines. Model and provide guidance to the pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches to foster relationships with patients and partners. This role requires a Staff Pharmacist with a PharmD or equivalent degree and active license to work at the forefront of patient care in an energetic environment dedicated to community health and wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
