Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations. Model and enforce proper customer service approaches to resolve concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety controls. Lead pharmacy staff by providing guidance on best practices, maintaining confidential documentation, and driving continuous improvements in patient safety and operational quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
- Work in a drug-free workplace with no tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
