Job Summary
Process prescription orders, counsel patients on medication needs, and administer immunizations while maintaining accurate documentation and controlled medication records. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service techniques, resolving complaints, and guiding associates on compliance with company policies and federal regulations. Analyze community health data to stay current on urgent issues, manage inventory for cost savings, and execute safety and quality assurance reviews. Ensure all operations adhere to Board of Pharmacy statutes and legal standards through regular monitoring and action plan development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
