Job Summary
Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide comprehensive patient care counseling on health services and new therapies. Maintain confidential documentation, controlled medication records, and assign records per state and federal guidelines. Develop and execute action plans to improve team knowledge, focus on patient safety, and reduce risk through root cause analysis. Monitor compliance with company policies, HIPAA regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures while implementing loss prevention and safety controls. Guide associates on proper customer service techniques, ethics, and integrity to ensure successful resolution of complaints within company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
