Job Summary
Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educate on medication usage and cost-effective options, and deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management while ensuring medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance. Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment, with opportunities for growth into leadership roles in pharmacy operations, retail management, and multi-site oversight. This role emphasizes patient-focused care, collaboration, continuous learning, and problem-solving within a Walgreens retail pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
