Job Summary
Develop a practice in your specialty area by building strong relationships with nursing units and departments. Proactively identify, implement, and monitor projects and programs, while participating in the hospital's MUE program. Precept residents and students to further the hospital's mission of clinical and service excellence. Maintain Board Certification in your appropriate specialty area and ensure BCLS certification is current. Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, residency training, and proficiency in mathematics within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited university
- license to practice pharmacy in Alabama
- PGY-1 residency
- equivalent clinical experience (to PGY-1 residency)
- PGY-2 residency
- equivalent clinical experience (to PGY-2 residency)
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- proficiency in mathematics
- BCLS
- Board Certification in appropriate pharmacy specialty area
