Job Summary
Pharmacist Specialist - Family Medicine and Internal Medicine on a full-time 1.0 FTE with day and evening shifts plus every 4th weekend. Provide the highest quality patient care, supervise pharmacy services in the assigned patient care area, work proactively as part of a team to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care, and contribute to continual quality improvement. Educate residents and APPE/IPPE students; participate in improvement efforts; work from the main Nebraska Medicine medical campus in Omaha and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff. Educational support includes tuition assistance and college discounts. Preference for ASHP-accredited residency and BPS certification relevant to practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
