Job Summary
Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients and deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management. Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance; educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options; mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment. Candidates should hold a BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree, possess current pharmacist licensure, and be a Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire. Preferred candidates include retail-pharmacy experience (1+ year) with experience in prescription filling, verification, records, regulatory compliance, pharmacy operations, software, and insurance. The role is provided with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance messages as part of Walgreens’ competitive compensation and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance
