Job Summary
Pharmacist at Walgreens with sign-on bonus and relocation available. Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educate on medication usage and cost-effective options, deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management, ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, and mentor/train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment. Requires a BS in Pharmacy or pharmacist degree, active licensure, and ability to become an immunizer within 90 days; preferred one year of retail pharmacist experience and familiarity with pharmacy operations, insurance claims, and technology systems. Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
