Job Summary
Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educating them on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options. Deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management. Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance while mentoring and training pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment. Maintain current pharmacist licensure in the state and obtain Certified Immunizer certification within 90 days of hire. This role offers a salary range of $60.90-$82.30/hr with flexible scheduling, comprehensive health benefits, and opportunities for advancement into leadership or corporate support functions at Walgreens.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
