Job Summary
Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, including immunizations, medication therapy management, and medication safety through accurate compounding and dispensing. Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options while mentoring and training pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment. Role supports growth into leadership within pharmacy operations and multi-site support, with Walgreens University offering free training and leadership development.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
