Job Summary
Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educating them on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options. Deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management. Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance while mentoring pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment. Maintain current pharmacist licensure and experience with controlled substance laws, with certification as an immunizer required within 90 days of hire. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $60.90 to $82.30 per hour, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching and tuition discounts.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
