Job Summary
Provide education and counseling to patients and consult on pharmaceutical questions with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Dispense prescriptions following standard operating procedures for receiving, filling, dispensing, logging, and maintaining loss prevention control. Report to the supervising pharmacist and float between the Blasdell, Mattina, and Riverway pharmacies as needed. Work a full-time, 40-hour week with no weekend hours, as health centers are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a New York State Pharmacist License, and minimum two years of community pharmacy experience. Join a team dedicated to fairness and patient advocacy within the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Western New York.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience
- New York State Pharmacist License with current registration
- Fluent in English
- You will work at all three Neighborhood pharmacies – Blasdell, Mattina, and Riverway
- You won't be working weekends
Desired Qualifications
- 340B experience preferred
- A second language of Spanish is preferred
