Job Summary
The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the retail pharmacy, which includes supervising pharmacy technicians and interns, verifying and dispensing prescriptions, providing medication education to patients and clinic staff, and maintaining patient assistance programs. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of pharmacotherapy, adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations, and excellent communication skills to ensure quality customer service. The pharmacist must collaborate with healthcare professionals and document medication-related information accurately. The position mandates a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, with a PharmD preferred, and a current license as a pharmacist in Montana.
