Job Summary
Provides centralized medication access support for Elliot Health System patients. Interprets, reviews and submits requests for prescription prior authorization; interprets physicians’ prescriptions and creates orders, accesses, inputs and retrieves prescription information from the electronic medical record; provides patient access guidance; conducts quality assurance and drug utilization reviews; coordinates medication patient assistance programs and low-cost alternatives; provides medication counseling to patients; delivers in-service education and other educational services; oversees the direct supervision of pharmacy technicians. Requires a PharmD degree with a NH pharmacy license; five years of health-system pharmacy experience preferred. Rotating 30-hour schedule with 3x10 shifts across varied hours, including rotating Saturdays; no Sunday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Current New Hampshire license to practice Pharmacy
- Board Certification preferred
