Process prescriptions by conducting prospective drug reviews and independently assessing medications to prevent and resolve drug-related problems. Provide accurate drug information to health professionals and patients while collaborating on therapy protocols. Assist in department management by supervising pharmacy technicians, training staff, and overseeing inventory and controlled substance compliance. Participate in performance improvement efforts and maintain a safe, orderly work environment. If serving as Night Pharmacist, triage nightly activities and resolve medication issues between disciplines.
