Job Summary
Pharmacist - PRN responsible for assisting in project management and opening a new pharmacy within a clinic setting, including Board of Pharmacy inspection coordination, setting up pharmacy software, stocking initial inventory and supplies, and establishing shelving. Will build relationships with patients and clinic staff (providers, nursing) to support MTM services and the ongoing operation while the pharmacy opens. Requires MTM capabilities or the ability to learn MTM, attention to detail for tracking opening milestones, and a strong foundation in pharmacy business metrics to monitor growth of a new pharmacy. Must be licensed in Tennessee, with travel for training to Knoxville (cost covered). This role is in-person at Knoxville, TN or Morristown, TN. The employer is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center providing integrated primary, behavioral, dental, optometry, and clinical pharmacy services, with a focus on community health and work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in the State of Tennessee in good standing at time of hiring
- MTM experience or ability to learn MTM services
- Willingness to travel to Knoxville for one week for training (company covers cost)
