Job Summary
Pharmacist needed for PRN in a busy specialty practice. Responsibilities include dispensing medication orders, interpreting prescriptions, calculating dosages, conducting final verification, engaging in prospective drug review, monitoring prescription usage, transferring prescriptions, and supervising technicians. Duties also cover patient counseling, chemo education, maintaining patient education materials, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance, safety policies, and all applicable regulations and accreditation standards. Requires a state license, PharmD or bachelor’s degree, and immunization certification; practice location includes Jacksonville, FL with on-site work as a PRN position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy and state licensure
- Current license as pharmacist in state of practice required
- Certified to administer immunizations in state of practice
