Job Summary
Pharmacist role in hospital setting responsible for dispensing drugs and pharmaceutical preparations, providing consultation to doctors and nurses, assisting in purchasing, inventory, IV admixture support, and participation in Pharmacy Quality Assurance and floor inspections. Requires current state pharmacist license (Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia) and Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred. 40-hour workweek in an exempt US hospital environment with emphasis on patient-focused care, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with pharmacy staff and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess current license as required by state board where services will be provided
- MD: Valid Pharmacist license through the Maryland Board of Pharmacy
- OH: Valid Pharmacist license through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- PA: Valid Pharmacist license through the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy
- WV: Valid Pharmacist license through the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy
- Experience in Hospital Pharmacy through internship or as registered Pharmacist (preferred)
