Job Summary
Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement, and distribution of drugs, counseling, and professional consultation. Interprets physician medication orders and compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and related products for patient care using automated dispensing machines, laminar flow hoods, and compounding equipment. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, hospital policies, and ethical business practices while maintaining customer confidentiality and representing the organization professionally. Requires current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s). Works 20-30 hours per week with every other weekend coverage in Madison, GA and holiday shifts.
