Pharmacist - Pharmacy Warehouse

Job Summary

Provide pharmacist-level operational guidance and compliance support for Class D pharmacy operations, floor stock, and centralized warehouse services. Conduct monthly onsite inspections of CommUnityCare and City of Austin clinics to ensure adherence to policies and state/federal regulations. Assist with formulary development, maintain safe work environments, and support team training, onboarding, and workflow consistency. Coordinate warehouse services and coverage, optimize pharmacy software like CAMIT and EPIC, and analyze processes for continuous improvement. Represent the team in multidisciplinary committees and collaborate with clinical staff to enhance medication access and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy)
  • 3 years either retail (community), mail order, hospital, or clinic (Class D) pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • Current Health Care Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification through American Heart Association
  • Texas Class "C" Driver's License with Proof of automobile liability insurance coverage on personal vehicle utilized for work related purposes

Desired Qualifications

  • Doctoral or Professional Degree Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • 3 years Class D pharmacy experience
