Job Summary
Licensed pharmacist responsible for the daily operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing and delivery of medications, patient counseling, monitoring therapy, providing drug information, ensuring proper documentation and HIPAA compliance, supervising licensed pharmacy technicians, and interfacing with healthcare professionals to assure safe and effective medication therapy. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, assessing therapy for appropriateness, coordinating medication preparation and delivery with care team, counseling patients, and participating in on-call rotations; requires licensure in Illinois and a PharmD or Bachelor in Pharmacy, with strong professional communication.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois
- Bachelor or PharmD degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program
- Two years experience as a Registered Pharmacist
