Job Summary
Pharmacist at Walgreens delivering clinical pharmacy services in a retail setting. Responsibilities include immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; dispensing and ensuring medication safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate records; mentoring and training pharmacy team members; navigating insurance claims and pharmacy technology; and providing patient-focused, expert-level pharmaceutical care. Requires BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree and current state licensure, plus at least 1 year of retail pharmacist experience. Location: Aurora, CO. Salary range is $69.05–$75.95 per hour, commensurate with geography and experience. Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
