Job Summary
Conduct clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment, managing drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixture. Maintain adequate drug supplies and participate in patient drug therapy monitoring while developing new employee training programs. Correctly inform and instruct discharged patients on medication use. Requires current state licensure, BLS, and a PharmD or BS Pharm; offers competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends. Part-time/Per Diem eligible for 401k after reaching 1,000 hours within the first anniversary.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure
- Current State licensure
- BLS if required by State
Desired Qualifications
- Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency
