Job Summary
Review orders to determine therapeutic rationale and safety, then efficiently and accurately perform pharmaceutical dispensing functions while incorporating clinical services. Provide pharmaceutical information to customers, health care professionals, patients, and families to improve patient outcomes, and demonstrate knowledge of IV sterile products preparation. Comply with all Federal and State regulations in the practice of Pharmacy, including JCAHO standards. Supervise pharmacy operations and support staff as needed. Requires an active New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license and a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree. Part-time per diem role with 1st shift rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Active New Jersey Registered Pharmacist license
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacy
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations
- Knowledge of JCAHO standards
- Ability to supervise pharmacy operations and support staff
