Job Summary
Interpret and fill drug orders, dispense prescriptions, compound medications, and prepare I.V. admixtures while monitoring therapy for contraindications, interactions, and allergies. Provide patient counseling, maintain medication records, and manage inventory and controlled substances. Act as alternate store leader when the Pharmacy Manager is absent, supervise pharmacy technicians, and verify biweekly departmental timesheets. Contact physicians regarding prescription irregularities and participate in performance improvement and educational programs. Comply with Maxor's Ethical Business Conduct policy and OIG/SAMS listing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or Pharm. D., from an approved school of pharmacy and registration by the state board of licensure
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in New Hampshire
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
Desired Qualifications

- active NH pharmacist license
- One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist
