Job Summary
Pharmacist role provides dispensing, clinical and patient support, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective medication use. Responsibilities include preparing, verifying, and dispensing meds per orders; reviewing orders and optimizing therapy; counseling patients and families on proper use and adherence; collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team; participating in medication safety, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives; developing and implementing clinical protocols; documenting interventions in the electronic health record; staying current with pharmacotherapy advancements; managing pharmacy inventory and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Requires Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with 0-1 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience; active pharmacist license (RPH) in state of employment; BCPS preferred. Locations: Tucson, AZ, US. Job type: Part Time. Shifts include day/evening coverage.
