Pharmacist / Part-time

Evaluate prescriptions for dose appropriateness, therapeutic efficacy, allergies, and drug interactions; process prescriptions through insurance systems and handle DUR rejects and pre-authorizations. Perform final checks on all prescriptions to ensure accurate input, labeling, and dispensing while maintaining refill and narcotic logs. Provide clinical guidance to physicians and patient counseling on a per-patient basis. Act as pharmacist in charge during manager absence by directing workflow and resolving operational issues. Participate in quality improvement teams and community outreach efforts. Requires Maryland or DC pharmacist license, 1-2 years retail experience, and CPR certification. Salary range $102,606 to $196,996 annually.
