Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department, including training subordinate staff, assigning work, and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. Implement and adhere to the Kinney Standard of Practice for dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, and maintaining quality assurance steps. Manage pharmacy inventory, process orders with the warehouse, and oversee third-party claims submissions while ensuring compliance with all state and federal guidelines. Maintain accurate prescription files, enforce loss prevention policies, and execute corporate marketing programs. Facilitate communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel, maintain professional relationships with doctors, and interface with auditors as needed. Complete all mandatory regulatory training and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy
- Criminal background check
- Drug Test
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
