Job Summary
Part-time Staff Pharmacist in CVS Health retail pharmacy responsible for dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and supporting the Pharmacy Manager. Acts as proxy during bench shifts, coaches the pharmacy team, ensures safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, maintains inventory with focus on cold chain, ensures compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, collaborates with the patient’s healthcare team, and provides pharmacist-led clinical care (e.g., COVID/Flu testing, Hormonal Contraception where permissible). Demonstrates empathy and genuine patient care, and delivers accurate medication-related services while maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
