Job Summary
The Pharmacist supports clinical research protocols by managing investigational products (IP) and ensuring compliance with regulatory, institutional, and sponsor requirements. This part-time (0.20 FTE) role handles receipt, storage, preparation, dispensation, and accountability of study medications in compliance with GCP and applicable regulations. Collaborates with investigators, study teams, sponsors, monitors, and regulatory agencies to support study execution, while maintaining PHI integrity under HIPAA. Preferred experience includes research pharmacy and sterile compounding in a high-volume clinical research environment focusing on vaccine and infectious disease trials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Experience: None required.
- Current licensure from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Desired Qualifications
- Research pharmacy experience.
- Sterile compounding experience.
