Pharmacist Night

Process prescriptions by conducting prospective drug reviews, assessing medications to prevent drug-related problems, and ensuring accurate compounding and dispensing. Provide timely drug information to health professionals and patients while collaborating with the healthcare team to manage therapy protocols. Assist in department management by supervising pharmacy technicians and students, overseeing daily inventory, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations for controlled substances. Triage nightly activities, delegate tasks, and serve as the primary interface to resolve medication problems between pharmacy, nursing, and other disciplines. Maintain a clean work environment and participate in performance improvement efforts. This role primarily works nights.
