Job Summary
The NICU/Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for comprehensive clinical review of all NICU medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy, including core responsibilities like antimicrobial stewardship, renal dose adjustments, and anticoagulation monitoring. The role involves conducting drug utilization review studies and consulting with medical practitioners regarding medication orders and patient reactions. Interpersonal skills are essential for successful interactions with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees. A Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required, with a Doctor of Pharmacy preferred, along with current licensure in Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
- Current pharmacist licensure with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

- Hospital experience preferred but not required
